Judo Coastal Series

The Judo Salt is a single-jointed inshore hard bait with a full-bodied front section, tapered curved rear, and brush-style tail that creates a natural chop and sway through the water. Available in Topwater and Subsurface versions, its baitfish profile and fluid jointed movement match coastal forage like mullet, menhaden, and scaled sardines around grass edges, shallow shell beds, and open sand flats.

The Topwater model slashes and glides across the surface with a smooth, choppy cadence, while the Subsurface model produces a tight walk-the-dog action just below the surface for fish that track a bait but hesitate to commit on top. Precision weighting keeps both versions balanced through current and wind chop, allowing the bait to maintain its posture whether walked, twitched, paused, or reeled steadily.

Fish it with short downward twitches for a rhythmic walk and glide, burn it before pausing to imitate fleeing forage, or slow roll it across grass and shell to keep the bait in productive water. The single joint and brush-style tail continue to create subtle turbulence and movement as the retrieve changes, giving speckled trout, redfish, and snook a convincing target from the surface down.

Surface or subsurface. One joint. Two ways to trigger inshore predators.

• Single-jointed body creates a fluid chop and sway that mimics coastal baitfish
• Topwater version slashes and glides with a controlled, choppy surface cadence
• Subsurface version walks tightly below the surface for fish reluctant to commit on top
• Precision weighting maintains balanced tracking through current and wind chop
• Brush-style tail adds subtle turbulence and secondary movement during retrieves and pauses
• Designed to match coastal forage including mullet, menhaden, and scaled sardines

• Topwater – Slashes and glides across the surface with a smooth, choppy cadence
• Subsurface – Produces a tight walk-the-dog action just below the surface
